SESAME GINGER RAMEN

Ingredients-
- 1 tbsp sesame oil 
- 2 cloves garlic, grated 
- 2 cm piece ginger, grated 
- 700ml water 
- 1 chicken stock cube 
- Ramen noodles (2 servings) 
- 1 tbsp dark soy 
- 1 tbsp light soy 
- Fresh medium red chili (adjust to taste) 
- 1 tsp miso paste 
- 1/2 tsp Chinese five spice (optional) 
Method-
- Sauté ginger and garlic in sesame oil for 3-5 minutes. 
- Add water and chicken stock cube. 
- Incorporate soy sauce, miso, chili, and five spices; simmer for 20 minutes. 
- Serve with preferred toppings—mushrooms, pepper, fresh chili, coriander, and lime. 
- Enhance the flavour with a soft-boiled egg (6 1/2 minutes), peeled, cut in half. 
- Optionally, drizzle with char sui sauce for an extra layer of taste.
